Green Jobs
Green jobs are projected to be a trillion dollar industry. In order to land or start in the green field, a working definition is necessary. So far no one has been able to define what the "green economy" is or green job.
A green job can be defined any job that is performed in an eco friendly manner or an industry that is directly related to green ideas. For example, manufacturing the blades for a wind turbine would be considered a green job. The caveat would be that even though this manufacturing job would be considered a green job, the processes that the company uses may not be. The definition has to include the assumption that companies are working to green their processes. Due to the broad nature of this definition, the green economy can grow exponentially and include a wide array of companies and types of jobs. A "green economy" is simply defining the industries and companies could be included within the working definition. Green careers have a huge potential for growth and should see a surge in hiring.
