Starting a career can be a frustrating and fun experience. The job market is continually changing and one must stay on top of the changes in order to succeed.

According to NationalAtlas.gov solar energy makes up less then 1% of U.S. electricity. As technology advances so will the use of solar power. The math is very simple, if solar usage is expanded to even 5%, the industry will see over 500% growth. The trickle down from this growth has an effect on job growth within this field. We are also seeing a growth in universities offering degrees in designing and building solar plants and solar panels. This adds growth within college professors. As the technology advances we are seeing additional job returns in commercial and home usage of solar energy.
The creation of the solar industry is a powerful job creator. Creation of new industry is what gives green jobs the most potential. Placing yourself at the ground floor of a burgeoning field is smart. Solar jobs hits many sectors of the current economy and will continue to play a role.
