SMART BINZ solar-powered recycling receptacles

SMART BINZ (Toledo, OH) is in the running for a $50,000 grant in the Pepsi Refresh Everything Project during the entire month of August, and they need your help. Grants are awarded based on the # of votes each project receives from the general public.

SMART BINZ solar-powered recycling receptacles help promote recycling efforts and utilizes a 10watt solar collector to power interior LED's that illuminate the four side panels of the receptacle. The side panels can then showcase illuminated back-lit artwork, advertisements, community service announcements or any displayed signage turning the recycling receptacle into an attractive and practical pathway light.
